Krishna

Kansa captured the throne of Mathura by putting his aged father in prison. Commanding a formidable army, he thought he was invincible. The threat to his power came from an unexpected quarter, from a shepherd boy named Krishna, who was rumored to be the eighth child of his cousin Devaki’s. Also, there was a divine prophecy that Kansa would end at the hands of Devaki’s eighth child.
